Steve King is a proud alum of M State, graduating with his associate of arts degree in 1985. He was also a student-athlete and played two years of football for the Spartans. King went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in physical education from St. Cloud State University and a master’s degree in health, physical education and recreation from Northern State University in South Dakota. He spent 15 years as an assistant football coach and 10 years as the head football coach 91TV, and was the head softball coach for 12 years. King and his wife, Marci, have four children: Joel, Marshall, Olivia and Levi.
