How to setup additional authentication methods for signing in

Click on “Fingerprint recognition (Windows Hello) Click Set Up Click get started Supply your pin if asked… Put your finger on the reader and watch what the screen asks you to do.  You may need to lift and reposition your finger many times for it to capture your entire fingerprint. The fingerprint reader may look differently on each computer.  Here are some examples: In this example it is an oblong power button: In this example it is the same button you use to turn on the power. (If you actually push the power button it will turn off your computer) You only need to place your finger on the button lightly for it to read your fingerprint. In this example, the laptop has a separate fingerprint reader. It should say that you have completed the setup when it is done. PIN (Windows Hello)ShowHow to setup a Pin for authentication:Short Description: Go to your search bar, open and type Sign. Click on sign-in options. Under “Ways to sign in”, click on PIN (Windows Hello) Click Set up Verify your account by entering your starid password, click ok. Enter a PIN, twice, and then click ok You will get a popup that says “Use Windows Hello with your account” Click ok Click your school account Verify with MFA You should see a popup that says “All set!” Click ok Long Description: In the search bar, type sign and select Sign-in options up above. Click on PIN Click Set up Supply your starid password to verify your account.   Enter your PIN, Confirm your PIN, click ok Click ok on the popup (Use Windows Hello with your account) Select your college account Starid@minnstate.edu Use one of the options to verify your identity. Your all set to use your PIN.
